Did you learn new techniques or processes as part of the work for this project? Yes, I learned that pouring rubbing alcohol over sharpie work that's on a canvas gives the sharpies an assorted look. I got this idea from DIY, they have great arts and crafts ideas.
Did you gain skill with familiar materials? Yes, I gained skill using familiar materials, sharpies and rubbing alcohol. I never thought of the idea of putting those two together. Both sharpies and rubbing alcohol are things that I both use.

'Is Art Without Meaning Decoration?' by good ole' Sands was a very meaningful and good article, I learned that all art students should apply meaning to their art. I also learned that there's a difference to when a student listen to a teacher directions and when a student put meaning behind their art work in art. The sum of this article is that students should strive for art with meaning, because what's art without a meaning???
This picture illustrates a young girl who is blowing bubbles, which then form into a mist of bubbles and wind. I used acrylic paint to create this painting.
